Let’s talk about one of the most challenging areas for clients to design – bookshelves! Don’t let them overwhelm you! Here are a few pointers:

• Give your shelves a little variety by positioning books horizontally AND vertically.
• Remember not to overcrowd them, less is more in this case.
• Add personal touches like small pieces of artwork, vases, or a bit of battery-powered lighting. Have fun with the items you use; unexpected items can lead to a great conversation and showcase your personal style.
• Don’t forget to fill in with little sprigs of greenery for warmth.
